JCCC's Corporate Philanthropy Survey Results Compiled

The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Chicago (JCCC) has just completed a corporate philanthropy survey of its members as part of its continuing efforts to build better relationships with the local community.

The survey was conducted jointly by the JCCC Foundation (Chairman: Mr. Yoshihiro Ozawa of Japan Airlines International) and the JCCC U.S.- Japan Relations committee (Chairman: Mr. Tomohiro Matsumura of Mizuho Corporate Bank) and was distributed to all JCCC corporate members. The survey asked in both English and Japanese details on member companies' community giving programs in the Chicago area within the last 3 years.

The following is the result of the JCCC Corporate Philanthropy Survey 2001-2003 based on the answers provided by the 107 companies - roughly one third of JCCC corporate members - that returned the survey.
