DuPage Children's Museum conducts a variety of Learning Labs in 44 school districts throughout the region, providing hands-on learning to 25,000 school children every year. The new labs took place in March and April in several Glendale Heights, District 15 schools. This district has participated in many DCM Learning Labs and counts on programs such as this to enrich its curriculum. "The exhibit stations and numerous activities led by Museum professional educators encourage group interaction, collaborative problem solving, and intellectual challenges appropriate to the grade level and school's curricula. I heartily support the work of the Museum and their endeavors to support students and their educational program in Illinois!" stated Dr. Diane Balke, Director of Curriculum and Instruction for District 15.
