Eligibility and Application DetailsIn 2008, the JCCC Foundation established the Japanese Language Education Grant. The purpose of this grant is to support and encourage the teaching of the Japanese language at schools and other non-profit organizations in the Chicago area. All schools and other not-for-profit organizations in the Chicagoland area with established Japanese language programs are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to projects and programs that will have a direct and immediate impact on students. In order to be eligible for consideration, a proposal must be submitted in writing to the JCCC Foundation. The proposal must adhere to the guidelines as explained in the Japanese Language Education Grant "Request for Proposals" that is prepared annually by the Foundation. The Request for Proposals may be obtained by contacting the JCCC Foundation in early May. The RFP may also be downloaded here.
