JCCC会員サービス委員会文化担当では、イリノイ州北部にあるRockford市のAnderson Japanese Gardensにてお茶会を開催します。本庭園は、1978年に設立された歴史ある庭園で、2004年にはアメリカの日本庭園専門雑誌「Journal of Japanese Gardening」において、北米の中で最も優れた庭園と評価されました。また、本庭園には数寄屋造りの茶室（知足庵）もあり、定期的にお茶会が開かれています。

毎年、本庭園では夏に「Japanese Summer Festival」を開催しています。今年は7月26日（土）と27日（日）の二日間に渡って開催され、茶道、華道、日舞等の様々な日本の伝統文化が紹介される予定です。その最終日に、JCCC特別お茶会の席を茶道裏千家准教授の郡司 紀美子師範代によるお点前でいただけることになりました。夏の美しい日本庭園で、アメリカの日常生活ではなかなか感じることができない雅やかなひとときを、美味しいお茶と共に味わえる貴重な機会ですので、皆様お誘い合わせの上、ぜひご参加くださいますようご案内申し上げます。

◇会費：JCCC会員(会員企業にご勤務の方とその家族も含む)： $25　　非会員：$45　（駐車無料、入園料含む）

           ※申込締切日（7/9）以降の返金は致しかねます。

  The JCCC Member Services Committee (Culture) will hold a special tea ceremony at Anderson Japanese Gardens located in Rockford, Illinois. The gardens were established in 1978 and named finest Japanese gardens in North America by the Journal of Japanese Gardening in 2004. The gardens have a sukiya (Japanese traditional resident architect) style tea house and tea ceremonies are held regularly.

　Every summer, the gardens host "Japanese Summer Festival". This year, the festival will be held on the last weekend of July (7/26-27), featuring Japanese traditional cultures such as tea ceremonies, flower arrangement, and dance. On the last day of the festival, Kimiko Gunji, assistant professor of Urasenke tea school, will perform special tea ceremony demonstrations for the JCCC. Please join us and enjoy an authentic Japanese tea in the beautiful gardens!

         *Parking is free and the fee includes the admission fee for the AJG

         *No refund accepted after the registration deadline below (7/9).
