2025 JCCC Foundation Charity Walk

This year, the JCCC Foundation will be hosting a "Charity Walk" as our fundraising event. The walk will take place on a scenic trail in Busse Woods, covering approximately 5 kilometers. After the walk, we will also hold a prize drawing where participants will have the chance to win wonderful prizes, and children will receive special treats! The event will finish in the morning, but the venue will be available until 4:00 PM. After the event, you are welcome to enjoy a picnic or spend your time there as you wish. Participation with strollers and dogs (on a leash) is also very welcome.
The JCCC Foundation was established to contribute to the Chicago community and to express our gratitude to the local community for welcoming Japanese companies. Through our annual grant presentation ceremony held every October, we provide grants to support educational projects carried out by schools and organizations in the Chicago area. We also continue to support schools and organizations that offer Japanese language programs, along with groups that promote U.S.-Japan exchange.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the JCCC Foundation (tax-deductible) and will help support various educational programs in the Chicago area, as well as promote U.S.-Japan community and cultural programming. We encourage everyone to participate and appreciate your cooperation.

Fee: 18 years and older: $40 / 6-17 years old: $20 / 0-5 years old: Free
*Snacks and Donation included.
*JCCC Foundation is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status. The donation portion of the fee will be a tax-deductible contribution by the IRS guidelines.

Rules and Regulations
1.The event organizers are not responsible or liable for any injuries sustained by participants. All participants must agree a waiver form when registering to this event.
2. No refunds in case of inclement weather. If there is severe weather, the event will be cancelled. All participants will be e-mailed by 6:15am the day of the event.
3. JCCC / JCCC Foundation is not liable for loss of personal property.
4. The following are prohibited during the event: bicycles, skateboards, baby-joggers, roller skates, personal music players, glass beverage containers
5. Participants agree to use of their pictures for social media purposes.
6. JCCC / JCCC Foundation will not share participant information with third party sources.
7. Please be considerate of other visitors in the forest preserve who are not part of the event.
8. Strollers and Dogs are allowed. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

2025年度Charity Walk

JCCC基金では、毎年恒例のファンドレイジングイベント「Charity Golf」に加え、「Charity Walk」を開催することになりました。約5Kの自然豊かなBusse Woodsのトレイルを歩くコースです。ウォーキング終了後には、豪華賞品が当たる抽選会を開催し、ご参加のお子さまにはお菓子をプレゼントいたします。イベントは午前中で終了しますが、会場は午後4時までご利用可能ですので、終了後はピクニックなどでご自由にお楽しみいただけます。また、ベビーカー及び犬（リード付き）でのご参加も大歓迎です。
JCCC基金は、シカゴ地域への社会貢献と、日系企業受け入れに対する地元コミュニティへの感謝の意を表する事を目的として設立されました。毎年10月に開催される基金贈呈式にて、シカゴ地域の学校や団体が実施する教育関連プロジェクトへ助成金を交付しています。また、日本語プログラムを提供する学校や団体、そして日米交流を促進する団体へも継続して支援を行っています。
本イベントの収益はすべてJCCC基金への寄付（税金控除対象）となり、シカゴ地域の様々な教育関連プログラムや日米交流促進への支援の一助となりますので、皆様奮ってご参加くださいますようご協力をお願いいたします。

※JCCC基金は501(c)(3)の非営利団体で、ご寄付はIRSが定める規定内で税金控除対象になります。

イベント規則
1. 主催者は、参加者が負ったいかなる怪我についても責任を負いません。参加者は、イベントへの登録時に免責同意書に同意する必要があります。
2. 天候不良（雷雨等）でイベントが中止になった場合、参加費の返金はいたしません。中止になった場合、全参加者には、イベント当日の午前6時15分までにEメールでご連絡します。
3. JCCC及びJCCC Foundationは、個人の所有物の紛失について責任を負いません。
4. イベント中、これらのものは禁止されています：自転車、スケートボード、ベビージョガー、ローラースケート、個人用音楽プレーヤー、ガラス製の容器の使用。
5. 参加者は、ソーシャルメディアでの写真使用に同意するものとします。
6. JCCC及びJCCC Foundationは、参加者情報を第三者に提供しません。
7. イベントに参加していない他の森林保護区の利用者にもご配慮ください。
8. ベビーカー及び犬のご参加は可能です。犬をお連れになる場合は、必ずリードをご使用ください。
