JCCCとシカゴ双葉会⽇本語学校の創⽴60周年を記念し、「ウォーク＆ラン」を開催いたします！ランニングに⾃信のある⽅も、ご家族やお友達とウォーキングを楽しみたい⽅も、ぜひご参加ください。8Kランでは、男⼥それぞれ上位3名の⼊賞者を表彰いたします。また、事前登録をいただいた⽅には参加賞としてオリジナルTシャツをプレゼント！イベント終了後には、軽⻝をご⽤意しておりますので、ご家族やご友⼈と⼀緒にピクニックをお楽しみください。皆さまのご参加を⼼よりお待ちしております。

参加費：大人（18歳以上）　会員・会員企業にご勤務の方とその家族：$30/人　　非会員：$35/人 
子供（6歳～17歳）　会員・会員企業にご勤務の方の子供：$10/人 　　非会員子供：$15/人 
幼児（5歳以下）：無料
※無料で参加されるお子様にはTシャツのご用意がございませんので、ご了承ください。

イベント規則

1. 参加者は、イベント参加に伴う危険を理解したうえで参加するものとし、イベント当日に主催者の定める免責同意書を提出しなければ参加できません。主催者の責任範囲は、当該免責同意書および適用法令に従います。
2. 天候、落雷、猛暑、自然災害、行政指示、会場側の要請、その他安全または運営上の理由により、主催者はイベントを中止、延期、変更、または会場変更することがあります。上記の理由でイベントが中止、延期、変更、または会場変更になった場合でも、参加費の返金はいたしません。イベント中止または重要な変更がある場合、主催者は原則としてイベント当日の午前6時までにEメールで通知します。ただし、緊急の場合はこの限りではありません。
3. 主催者は、参加者の所持品の紛失、盗難、破損または取り違えについて責任を負いません。
4. イベント中、次の行為または持込みは禁止します。自転車、スケートボード、ベビージョガー、ローラースケート、個人用音楽プレーヤー、ガラス製容器、花火その他の危険物、武器類、火気の使用、施設・樹木・標識その他会場物件の損傷行為。加えて、会場である森林保護区の規則で禁止される行為はすべて禁止します。
5. 参加者は、イベント中に撮影された自己の写真、動画、音声その他の記録が、主催者により、ウェブサイト、ソーシャルメディア、広報物、報告資料その他の適法な広報・記録目的で使用される場合があることに同意するものとします。
6. 主催者は、法令上認められる場合、または緊急対応上必要な場合を除き、参加者情報を第三者に提供しません。
7. 参加者は、本イベントの規則に加え、会場である森林保護区の規則および現地スタッフの指示に従うものとします。また、イベントに参加していない他の森林保護区利用者の通行・利用を妨げないよう配慮してください。
8. ベビーカーおよび犬の同伴はウォーク参加者に限り認めます。犬を同伴する場合は常時リードを使用し、他の参加者および一般利用者の安全に十分配慮してください。主催者が危険または運営上不適切と判断した場合には、同伴をお断りすることがあります。

JCCC & Chicago Futabakai Japanese School 60th Anniversary Walk & Run 2026

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of JCCC and the Chicago Futabakai Japanese School, we are excited to host the “Walk & Run 2026”!
Whether you are a confident runner or would simply like to enjoy a walk with family and friends, we warmly invite you to join us. In the 8K run, the top three male and top three female finishers will receive awards. Participants who register in advance will receive an original event T-shirt as a participation gift. After the event, light refreshments will be served, so please enjoy a picnic with your family and friends. We look forward to your participation!

Fee: Adults (18 and over):
        JCCC members, employees of member companies, and their family members: $30 / Non-members: $35
        Youth (ages 6–17):
        Children of JCCC members or employees of member companies: $10 / Non-member children: $15
        Children (age 5 and under): Free
        ※Please note that T-shirts are not provided for children participating for free.

Rules and Regulations

1. Participants acknowledge and understand the risks associated with participating in the event and agree to participate at their own risk. On the day of the event, participants will not be permitted to participate unless they submit the waiver and release of liability agreement designated by the organizer. The scope of the organizer’s liability shall be governed by such waiver and release and by applicable law.
2. The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or relocate the event due to weather conditions, lightning, extreme heat, natural disasters, government orders, requests from the venue, or other safety or operational reasons. If the event is cancelled for any of the foregoing reasons, the participation fee will not be refunded. In the event of cancellation or a material change to the event, the organizer will generally notify all participants by email no later than 6:00 a.m. on the day of the event; however, this notice　timing may not apply in emergency situations.
3. The organizer shall not be responsible for the loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of participants’ personal belongings.
4. The following items and activities are prohibited during the event: bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates, personal music players, glass containers, fireworks or other hazardous materials, weapons, use of open flames, and any conduct that damages facilities, trees, signs, or other property at the venue. In addition, any conduct prohibited under the rules of the forest preserve serving as the venue is also prohibited.
5. Participants consent to the possibility that photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, or other records of themselves taken during the event may be used by the organizer for lawful publicity or documentation purposes, including use on websites, social media, promotional materials, reports, and similar media.
6. The organizer will not disclose participant information to third parties except where permitted　by applicable law or where necessary for emergency response.
7. Participants must comply with these event rules as well as the rules of the forest preserve serving as the venue and the instructions of on-site staff. Participants must also take care not to obstruct or interfere with the passage or use of the forest preserve by　other users who are not participating in the event.
8. Strollers and dogs are permitted only for participants in the walking portion of the event. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and participants must exercise appropriate care to ensure the safety of other participants and general users of the forest preserve. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or accompaniment if it determines that such accompaniment poses a safety risk or is otherwise inappropriate for event operations.
