| Event/Announcement Details | 楽曲の著作権侵害（いわゆる海賊版）をめぐる重要な訴訟であるCox Communications, Inc. v. Sony Music Entertainment事件において、2026年3月、米国連邦最高裁は満場一致でCox Communications, Inc.（“Cox”）の主張を認め、Sony Music Entertainment（“Sony”）その他大手音楽レコード会社の主張を退けました。本件では、インターネットサービスプロバイダー（“ISP”）が、利用者が著作権侵害を行っていることを知りながら、それにもかかわらず当該利用者へのインターネットアクセスの提供を継続した場合、その利用者による著作権侵害についてISPに対して寄与責任（二次的責任）を追及することができるか否かが争点となりました。（続きまたは英語版の記事は添付をご覧ください。） |
