| Description | The University of Illinois Chicago is located just 1 mile southwest from the center of downtown Chicago. UIC’s Japanese program offers the first through third year level Japanese courses. 80 to 100 students study the language and culture in these courses each year. The students are passionate about establishing their Japanese language skills and deepening their understanding on Japanese culture. Every year a few Japanese program graduates participate in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program. Study abroad programs in Japan are also popular among our students. |
