2026 Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Fund

A powerful earthquake struck Japan’s Kumamoto Prefecture on the southwestern island of Kyushu on July 28, with hundreds of thousands of people being told to move to evacuation shelters. Since many buildings have collapsed, authorities expect more casualties, and rescue teams have been searching for survivors day and night.
The JCCC Foundation has launched a disaster relief campaign to support the victims on behalf of the Chicago-based Japanese community. We would like to ask you to please consider donating to assist the people of these areas in rebuilding their lives.
